Dr Letizia Gulino is a molecular biologist with more than 20 years’ experience in cellular and molecular biology.

She has worked in both the academic and industry sectors across Italy and UK.

Originally from Palermo, Italy, her countryside roots inspired her to explore the link between nature, science, and overall health.

With a strong interest in oncology, she began her career working on melanoma cells and their apoptotic destiny under the effect of potential chemotherapies.

After studying Biological Sciences at the University of Palermo, she obtained her doctorate awarded with laude in Molecular Medicine.

Her specialism is in the complex mechanism of Mesenchymal Stem Cells and their regenerative abilities.

In 2008 she was awarded the summa cum laude for her research on the ‘Immunomodulatory Activity of Human Stem Cells’.

Her goal is to offer science as a tool for people to make healthy lifestyle choices. Her abilities play a crucial role at RMDM in strengthening our ties with the scientific community.
